The Berkel 823E-PLUS manual gravity-feed slicer is compact in size—perfect for kitchens with limited counter space. Its one-speed motor is totally enclosed and permanently lubricated to reduce maintenance. For added security, the 9-inch hardened and polished chromium-plated carbon steel knife comes equipped with a permanent tapered knife ring guard. A top-mounted, two-stone sharpening system ensures long-lasting sharpness and performance. This light-duty slicer is appropriate for limited, precise daily slicing of meat and vegetables, but operators should not slice cheese with a slicer blade of this size.
