The Alto-Shaam ED2-72/2S-BLK countertop heated display case has two shelves for holding three full-size and three third-size hotel pans or three full-size sheet pans. Its upper shelf has thermal kinetic glass that heats food evenly, while the bottom shelf is warmed using an aluminum plate with a heat pad. To maintain ideal serving temperatures, the bronze sliding doors reflect heat onto the products. Because the full-width of the unit's front is open, it is great for self-serve applications.

Equipped with a heat guard on the front of each shelf, this Alto-Shaam ED2-72/2S-BLK self-service heated display case ensures that users won't burn themselves when grabbing food. To protect the walls and outer surface of this unit, it comes with a bumper that is environmentally friendly and recyclable. The display case uses Halo Heat® technology to hold foods, meaning it will keep products at ideal serving temperatures without continuing to cook them.
