The Alto-Shaam ED2-48/2S-BLK countertop heated display case keeps food hot and moist without the use of water. Its Halo Heat® technology provides uniform heat that surrounds foods gently and eliminates cold spots. Both shelving tiers are equipped with four overhead lights that illuminate product to catch customer attention. The curved glass side panels and open front offer a clear view of displayed items.

Users can chop and prepare foods on the Alto-Shaam ED2-48/2S-BLK self-service display case's 10-inch by 36-inch rear work shelf. The shelves' temperatures are adjustable with thermostatic controls to accommodate a wide product selection. To load fresh foods into the unit, its rear glass doors slide open for employee access. For user protection, it's equipped with two heat-on indicator lights and a front-mounted heat guard.
